Creative Explorers is for budding young artists aged 8 to 9, where children learn real techniques while keeping the fun flowing. 🧑‍🎤🖌️🎨
Our young creators exploring the powerful connection between sound and sight. Next term, we’ll be diving into Music and Art—discovering how rhythm, melody, and colour inspire one another. Through playful, hands-on projects, children will explore how music can shape the way we paint, draw, and move, using everything from lively beats to gentle harmonies as creative fuel. At this age, children are beginning to express themselves with greater intention and imagination. In our classes, we’ll nurture that growing awareness by helping them listen, feel, and translate sound into visual expression. They’ll experiment with mark-making, pattern, and colour to capture mood and movement—learning how music can paint a picture, and how art can sing. As they create, they’ll also be building key skills in focus, self-expression, and emotional awareness. Each session encourages them to trust their instincts and explore how art and music together can tell powerful, personal stories.
