WenLin Chinese School is an award-winning, Ofsted-registered specialist Mandarin school in London, helping children build a love of Chinese from their very first words. Founded in 2016, we offer a complete, structured learning pathway from toddler and preschool Mandarin through primary and secondary school to GCSE Chinese and advanced HSK proficiency. Children can start young and progress with WenLin year after year – our early-years classes are the beginning of a long-term language journey, not stand-alone activity sessions. For young learners, Mandarin is introduced naturally through songs, stories, movement, games, play and hands-on activities. As children grow, learning becomes progressively more structured, developing listening, speaking, character recognition, reading and writing at the right developmental stage. 🧸 Bear Class (1–3) – A joyful first introduction to Mandarin, with a parent/carer actively participating alongside their child. 🐼 Panda Class (3–4) – Playful, purposeful preschool Mandarin, building listening, speaking, vocabulary and early character awareness. 🌱 Reception Mandarin (4–5) – A structured foundation in spoken Mandarin and early Chinese literacy through meaningful, engaging activities.
