Our first sculpture class! Celebrating the wonderful Judith Scott. We would love for your child to bring an old object to use within their sculpture, if not we can provide one. Judith Scott was an American fibre artist known for her powerful, abstract sculptures made by wrapping and binding everyday objects with yarn and fabric. As a neurodivergent artist with Down syndrome who was also deaf, she created deeply expressive work that challenged traditional ideas about art, ability and communication. Her work is celebrated for its originality and emotional depth and it has been exhibited internationally. The Little Chameleons Art Club is a fun, hands-on art class for toddlers and young children ages 18 months to 8 years . Sessions are all about creativity, exploration and sensory play, helping little ones develop confidence and motor skills while having lots of fun. Expect messy arts and crafts, themed activities designed to spark imagination as well as child led free play. All materials are provided — just bring your child in clothes you don’t mind getting messy! The relaxed, friendly environment encourages self-expression and social interaction, making it a perfect space for young artists to explore and create. See less

Laura goes above and beyond with her classes, activities are consciously thought through and prepared to provide various options so there’s lots of opportunities for exploration. Her expertise and professionalism shine through, there’s art books and prompts for inspiration so there’s never a dull moment. My little boy doesn’t sit still for long but that’s welcome here, it’s all about mucking in, making friends and having fun. The experience of being in an art gallery is a great bonus too. These classes are a valued staple in our calendar.

This is one of our favourite things to do in the week! We go almost every Wednesday and it’s such a lovely environment for both adults and kids, with lots to do - enough to keep the little ones interested! Laura is so accommodating and the kids really love her. Couldn’t recommend it more. All the fun of arts and crafts without the stress of your carpet getting covered in paint and glue.
